| FicSpecies is a comprehensive bestiary of the creatures, races and beings that populate the wonderful world of fiction, from mythological monsters and cryptids to sci-fi aliens and fantasy races. Our purposefully loose definition of "fiction" includes everything from film, literature, video games and the like to ancient mythology, cryptozoology and popular culture. You can even add your own species to our user-created section.
FicSpecies is a free and open community project, so if you can't find the creature you're looking for, just add it! To keep things organized, be sure to check out the layout guide first. To add a species, use the box below: The database currently features 402 species articles (of which 357 are fully developed).
